2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Journey770 collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data in connection with the purchase and delivery of travel eSIM Plans through our website.

3. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

Phone number: Our checkout form may display an optional phone number field. In the current version of the Service, this information is held only temporarily in your browser during the checkout session. It is not sent to Journey770’s servers and is not stored in our systems. It is not currently used for any purpose, including service messages.

• Order identification data: first name, last name, and the email address you provide at checkout. Your eSIM installation details and order confirmation are sent to this address.
• Billing information: full name, country, and, if provided, city, address, and postal code, used for payment processing, issuance of applicable invoices or receipts through external payment and billing services, and for our internal accounting and transaction records.
• Order and checkout information: the Plan and destination selected, order amount, currency, and order status.
• Cancellation request data: if you submit a cancellation request, we collect the order number, the email address used, and, optionally, the reason you provide.
• Support communications: any information you send us when contacting support@journey770.com.
• Internal refund records: if a refund is processed for your order, we maintain an internal record of the refund amount, reference, and a brief operator note, for accounting and audit purposes. This information is internal and is not exposed through our website.
• Technical and log information: standard web server and application logs may include information such as IP address and browser/User-Agent data, generated automatically as part of operating the website and processing requests. This information is not stored in your order or customer record.
• Locale preference: your selected display language, stored via a functional cookie described in Section 10.

4. Data We Do Not Store

Journey770 does not receive or store your raw payment card number, expiry date, or CVV. Payment is completed on a secure, externally hosted payment page operated by our payment processor. Your card details are handled entirely by that processor and do not reach Journey770’s systems.

5. How We Collect Data

We collect data directly from you when you complete a checkout form, submit a cancellation request, or contact support. Technical and log data is generated automatically as part of operating our website and servers.

6. Purposes of Processing

We use your data to: process and fulfil your order; deliver your eSIM and related installation information; provide customer support; process and respond to cancellation requests; facilitate the issuance of applicable invoices or receipts through external payment and billing services; maintain accounting, tax, and transaction records; operate, secure, and improve our website and systems; and comply with applicable legal obligations.

7. Service Providers

We share limited personal data with service providers who act on our behalf, including: a payment processor, to complete your payment and facilitate the issuance of applicable billing documents; an eSIM network provider, to provision your Plan (this provider receives only an order reference and Plan identifier, not your name, email, or billing details); and hosting/infrastructure and email-delivery providers, to operate the website and deliver order-related emails. These providers are permitted to use your data only to provide the relevant service to us.

8. International Processing

Some of our service providers may process data using infrastructure or personnel located outside Israel, or may involve participants located in more than one country. Journey770 takes reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements appropriate for the services involved, subject to applicable law.

9. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including: providing the Service and maintaining your order history; complying with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; resolving disputes; and preventing fraud or abuse. Where data is no longer needed for these purposes, we take steps to delete or anonymize it, subject to any retention obligations applicable under law.

10. Cookies and Functional Storage

We use one functional cookie to remember your selected display language (English or Hebrew) across visits. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including restricting administrative access to our systems and redacting sensitive values from application logs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or ask us questions about how it is processed. To make such a request, contact support@journey770.com with enough information for us to locate your order (such as your order number and the email address used at checkout). We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

13. Minors

The Service is not specifically directed to children. If applicable law requires consent or authorization for a particular user, that requirement continues to apply.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a new version and effective date at the top of this page.
